No writing today. Oh well. I guess that’s what I get for re-theming my blog. ><

Anyway, I don’t know how often I’ll be able to update this while I’m gone, but I’ll see what I can do. Hopefully my cell phone will allow me to log in here and maybe write some entries. Or when we go to wi-fi hotspots I can use my compy…

Okay, so I was wrong. I just re-did my theme. >< I figured out a few little tricks from looking at other blogs and stuff, so I was eager to try them out. :oP I may change it more yet, but not until next week. Please let me know what you think about this “new” design. :oD

Tomorrow is the big day. I sort of still cannot believe that we are actually going to Texas. O_O It’s rather strange to me. I’m actually starting to feel a bit unsure about going. Believe it or not, half of me wants to stay. But I know that we need to go. The Lord showed my mom that we do. So the other half of me is excited about going. It’s very strange. I guess I’m feeling this way since this is the first time we will all be away from home after we got Tyler and Savannah…

Anyway, I think I’m going to try to get in some NaNoing this morning before we get to work packing up. We’ll see how much I get done. Hopefully it’ll be a goodly amount. Laters!

I actually ended up not writing at all today. << Instead, I finished up a Web project. I am glad, as now I won’t have it hanging over my head while I’m gone.

So. Tomorrow I probably won’t write much — if at all — so… Or maybe I can get in a few words right now. O_O

Wow. Yesterday was the two-thirds mark in NaNo and I can’t believe it. It’s all gone by way too fast…

I don’t know how much writing I will be able to get done today. I think we’re going to be pretty busy getting ready for the trip, so I guess I’ll see how much I can fit in.

Last night Tyler and Savannah tore up some fiberglass insulation and we were worried that they ate some. We gave them some hydrogen peroxide (at the recommendation of a person at an emergency animal center) and they vomited. Thank the Lord they hadn’t eaten any. We don’t know about Maddie. With her being pregnant we didn’t want to give her any of the stuff… She isn’t the type to just go around eating that kind of thing, so we’re pretty sure she didn’t eat any of it. Just to be sure, though, we’re feeding her some chicken with olive oil to help anything pass through and not block anything inside her. She’s been acting normal today, so we’re very glad. We’ll just be watching her and the other two for the rest of the day and for tomorrow. But we’re still planning on leaving on Sunday for Texas.

Okay, I’d better find something constructive to do. Later!

Well, well, well. We have a new development that has me rather distracted from NaNo. Can you guess what it is? No, Maddie hasn’t had her puppies. No, we’re not getting a horse. And no, no one has died. :oP

WE’RE GOING TO TEXAS!!!!!

*ahem* Yeah… We are planning on leaving on Sunday and will come home next Saturday. I’m super excited, and I’m hoping to get tons of writing done on the road. Not to mention the fact that I should get to see the Texas Tribe while I’m there. *pom*

I am going to get a packing list together then get to work on…something. ^^ Later!

Edit: Well, it’s lunch time and I just cranked out over 1,000 words in thirty minutes of timed writings. I’m up to 37,039 words. *woot!* I’m very excited, as I should be able to make my goal for the day. *shifty eyes* I’m off for lunch. Byes!

Edit 2: I’ve got 38,133 words. I just did a bunch more timed writings and got another thousand out. And now it’s time for dinner! :o)

Today’s final word count ish 35,820. I didn’t write until this afternoon, or I would have gotten higher. But I went past my daily goal, so it’s gut.

Now I just have to back up my work then I’ll get to bed. And hopefully I’ll write more tomorrow. Byes!

So, here we are, eighteen days into NaNoWriMo. I’m still enjoying my novel and I’m not ready to throw it out the window yet, which is good. :oP

No pics yesterday, as I predicted. And I’ve decided that I will not mention pics any more. They seem to do better when they just show up on the blog… ^^

Well, I’m going to make my daily Web rounds then get to NaNoing. Hopefully my sister will do some timed writings with me. Laters!

Okay, so no pics today. Surprised? Not I! But I am surprised at my finishing word count for the day: 32,528. Most of that was written during timed writings with my sister. :oD I’m hoping to do that again tomorrow. We shall see. Night!

I am sitting here on the window seat in the living room with Callie, Acacia, and Winnie all curled up and snoozing. *squee!!* It’s nice and sunny here and I’m about to get going on NaNo. I have high hopes for today, and I can’t wait to see how high I get. :oD

I also need to get some other posts up. I have photos to post and some other things. We’ll see if they get posted today. I don’t see why they wouldn’t, but some times they have a mind of their own. ^^

I just wrote some. My word count for today is 29,250. Wow, it’s late. I’d better hit the hay.

Final word count for today: 28,242. Not as much as I’d hoped, but enough. :o)

Despite my hopes of getting a ton of words written, I have not yet written today. Argh. Instead, I vacuumed, dusted, cleaned the bathroom, did some other cleaning, and made a double batch of cantaccini, as well as a double batch of apple filling for turnovers and apple tarts. So basically I got tons of stuff done…except writing. But I am ready to get in some words. We’ll see how hight I can get.
